1. Parents’ Day:
The students performed various items like Action Songs, Playlets, Classical, Western and Folk Dances with their elegant looks and eye-catching costumes which thrilled and won the hearts of the parents and guests.

 

2. Christmas and Sankranthi Celebration:

The students were enchanted with the depiction and message given by watching the plays and enjoying the music and dances. Festivals like this are enjoyed by everyone – rich or poor; they also usher in a strong secular feeling and rich culture which India is endowed with.


3. Community Service, for the Poor Orphan Children, the old and
Destitute:

Students of Classes Vi to X were taken out in groups along with the Management & some of the Staff to distribute essential food Commodities, blankets, bed sheets, towels, snacks and toilets to the poor and the needy in order to inculcate the habit of being loving, charitable and sparing a thought for the unfortunate and have -nots.


4.Field Trips:
The Students of Classes VI & IX were taken on field trips to help them gain practical knowledge.


5. Science Exhibition:
A Science Exhibition was conducted on 18th of September 2010 in our school campus to bring out the inherent talents of our budding Scientists. More than 40 Models including working models were exhibited. They created awareness to the viewers about the Blood Group, AIDS and Environmental Pollution, Detection of Earthquakes and other interesting exhibits; The exhibition was so popular that it attracted nearly 2000 Visitors including staff and students from 15 Schools. It won the hearts of the viewers and received a great applause from the people belonging to different walks of Life. Whatever is done in DON BOSCO’S will remain a landmark year after year.


6.World Womens’ Day:
In connection with the 100th International Women’s Day Celebration, the Management and Staff conducted various Activities like Floral Decoration, best out of the waste and also preparation of fruit salads. The programme went on well with the active participation of many women folk of Narsipatnam. This programme was co-sponsored by many well-wishers.


7. Feast of St. John Bosco 31st January.
A special day in the year set aside for a day of fun and enjoyment, for the parents, staff, children, and guardians.
